A large English collar by tradition not only shields from the wind
but also creates enough space to feel the warmth of one’s own presence.
  • One as a den, a place to observe the outside world.
  • The other as a shield from oneself, to avoid seeing too much of what’s within.

In this story, the coat represents two types of shelter:

* Gobbledegook coat with sharp shoulders is made from natural, sturdy wool.
* Floccinaucinihilipilification raglan coat is made from natural, sturdy wool.
* The piece is hand-finished along the entire perimeter with a concealed placket for discreet storage and an inner pocket for a secret.
And only one detail reminds him of his home in Spitalfields:
A scarf made from 23 pieces of woolen fabric, inspired by the architecture of the working-class district of Spitalfields.
Only he knows what colours and details are inside.
The contrasting insulated lining made of wool is hand-quilted.
Stephen Ridley — British musician
‘When I’m alone I don’t feel lonely. On the contrary, I feel that there’s much more focus in this time to understand myself. So, taking a walk around the neighbourhood wrapped up, without people – it’s a kind of rest that inspires me.’
Thomas Meacock — British model
‘I think I’m more of an introvert. I enjoy being alone with myself to reflect on who I am and where I’m going.’
Two artists – incredibly vibrant, filling people with contrasting positive emotions.
Restless creative minds.

That’s why in our shoot we wanted to capture their composure in moments when they are alone with themselves. Without people attention or emotional distractions.

One-on-one with their thoughts
and self-understanding. And it turned out that this time is especially precious to them.
